Bardons & Oliver Inc. offers the opportunity of working at a mid-sized, precision machine tool manufacturer and contract machine shop known for its ability to produce innovative, quality products. Position: Machinists
Our business is on the increase as the recession begins to ease. We need more good machinists, on all shifts, to set up and run our CNC VTLs and large, horizontal CNC Mills. Applicants must be able to do setups of large castings and forgings, from prints. We welcome applications from part-timers and retirees, to see if we can work with your schedule.
Our current schedule has two shifts, 6:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and 4:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. As orders continue to increase, we are looking at going to three, 8-hour shifts.
This is a clean, well-tooled shop with a great working atmosphere. Our company is an ESOP, with the associates owning 100% of the company. We have retirement accounts, ESOP accounts, and bonuses, all based on profit-sharing. Other benefits include medical coverage, 401(K), tuition reimbursement, life insurance, 11 holidays/year and two weeks vacation after one year.
If an associate participates in our wellness program, his/her monthly cost for medical coverage is $37 for single coverage, $70 for two-person and $112 for family coverage.
